= Overview =

The basic idea of the computing layer was introduced in the !PacketCloud (!MobiArch'13) paper:

The computing layer can help the !MobilityFirst architecture host general-purpose in-network services. There are two types of the computing services, i.e., user requested services, and transparent services. At the moment, we have only implemented an interface to integrate transparent services to the network infrastructure (routers).
