Routing Meeting Notes for June 20, 2011
Tasks we discussed and plans for this week:
Nehal
- Read topology from file and create a "packet filtering" element to enforce it
- Try to get a basic (but not fully connected) topology using >= 4nodes on SB4 working with link probes
- Adapt tx rate to see how it changes the SETT measurements.
Kai
- Figure out how to do file reads and write from CLICK
- Design an end-to-end protocol for reliable transfer, accounting for the end host needing to tell the source to slow down
- Implement the designed protocol and try to read a file and send it.
Sangeetha
- Create new slides for Ray regarding use cases
- Write out a detailed protocol of what information should be exchanges between 2 clusters that meet (but don't merge)
- Continue learning CLICK, reviewing Nehal's code as an example
Ayaka
- Brainstorm ideas regarding how flows are set up using GUIDs and the GNRS, and how they can be recovered from without going back to the source
