WORK LOG:

Working on prototyping of the control plane of GSTAR routing protocol.

Written Click elements for routing on Intra-Partition Graph (sending and processing Link Probes and LSAs).

Jun 17: Tested the creation of neighbor table using Link Probe for both wired and wireless on ORBIT.

Jun 24: Written an element "Topology" for creating a network topology on ORBIT (based on mac addresses read from a text file)

Jul 1: Studied the variation of SETTs with the change in bit-rate of the wlan cards.

Jul 8: Tested the sending of LSAs and creation of forwarding table on ORBIT.

Jul 15: Worked on writing scripts for automating and running the complete protocol on grid through console. Started working on NS2 and understanding the CNF implementation on it.

Jul 29: Started working on path selection metric to be used for Dijkstra's Algorithm by making changes in NS2 implementation of CNF. Also, trying to run the complete control plane part of GSTAR with 20+ nodes on orbit grid.

Aug 5: Started implementing GSTAR routing protocol on NS-3.
